Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) professionals are sought for a facility in Portland, Oregon. This position involves providing patient care on a short-term acute care unit, with responsibilities spanning various clinical procedures and patient monitoring activities. The successful candidate will join a team delivering high-quality care in a dynamic environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week starting 08/17/2026
• Required Qualifications: Valid Oregon state license with a compact license; at least 1 year of clinical experience; current BLS certification; experience with medical surgical and telemetry units; proficiency in charting using Epic.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience with adult and geriatric patients.
• Float: Several medical surgical units; float rotation may be required to meet operational needs.
• Additional Information: Candidates must have worked with insulin administration, oral suctioning, colostomy/ileostomy management, and care for bowel obstruction patients. Experience in managing blood products, central lines, PICC lines, and telemetry monitoring is essential. Candidates should be adaptable to floating across units and facilities as needed.
• Travel Experience: Required
• Certifications: BLS
• Skills: Managing ports, blood product administration, central line and PICC line care, CBI, feeding tube management, Heparin protocols, high flow nasal cannula, dysrhythmia interpretation, PPE precautions, IV management, surgical drain care, telemetry monitoring, tracheostomy care, rapid response, wound care, early mobilization, CHG baths.
