Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) Nurse Position in Saint Louis, MO This position entails providing direct patient care activities for all age groups in a busy medical surgical telemetry unit. The role involves assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, ensuring optimal patient outcomes while working within established nursing practice guidelines.

Job Details

• Position: RN Level 2 Telemetry Nurse in Medical Surgical unit with telemetry specialty.
• Location: Saint Louis, MO.
• Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Certifications: Current RN License valid for Missouri or eligible for licensure in Missouri; BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required.
• Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Nursing or equivalent; at least 1 year of nursing experience; ability to manage cardiac drips; operated EKG machine proficiency preferred.
• Responsibilities include managing cardiac-related patient conditions such as acute AFIB onset, CHF exacerbations, and postsurgical cardiac or vascular care.
• Must be capable of floating throughout adult medical surgical units as needed with unit ratios approximately 5-6:1.
• Uniform: Scrubs in black color.
• Schedule: Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, including every other weekend and at least one major winter holiday.
• Orientation: Mandatory day shift orientation for the entire week.
