Job Summary Medical Surgical with Telemetry Registered Nurse Location not specified. This position involves providing comprehensive patient care within a Medical Surgical with Telemetry unit. The RN will evaluate patients, assist physicians, develop individualized care plans, and perform therapeutic interventions to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details
Schedule: Dayshift, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: ASN degree, NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license, BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS, Telemetry certification, NIHSS certification, minimum of 2 years prior RN experience in a Medical Surgical with Telemetry unit in a major acute care hospital setting, and strong telemetry background.
Preferred Qualifications: BSN degree.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care
Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs
Identify patient needs and determine priorities through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation
Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized care plans
Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage care of patients
Document care based on standards of care, patient acuity, and clinical priorities
Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards and supports adoption of innovations in care delivery
Provide patient-centric care aligned with professional nursing practice models
Additional Information:
Must have a minimum of 2 years prior RN experience working in a MS/Telemetry unit in a major acute care hospital setting
Schedule notes specify the shift timing and hours per week, with on-call requirements.
Float rotation may be required.
