Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) Nurse, rotating shifts, in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care to orthopedic, neuro, and medical patients, with a focus on telemetry assessment and interpretation of Tele Strips. The position requires adaptability to rotating shifts and the ability to float to applicable units when requested.

Job Details

  • Position involves working in a 32-bed orthopedic/neuro medical-surgical unit, with additional overflow coverage for medical patients.
  • Required Qualifications: Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) License; AHA Basic Life Support (BLS); minimum of 2 years working in one location; and 2 years working as a traveler.
  • Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Preferred Qualifications: AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
  • Additional Information: Must be able to read Tele Strips, with telemetry competency and neuro assessment skills. Day and evening shifts are typically 1:4, which may go up to 1:5. Night positions do not rotate. Rotation frequency is low.
