Job Summary: Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Telemetry is needed for a hospital in Salem, Massachusetts. The position involves night shifts supporting a 32-bed orthopedic and neuro med/surg unit. The role requires reading telemetry strips and providing patient care to a diverse medical and surgical patient population. This is a full-time overnight position with a focus on patient safety and clinical expertise.
Job Details:
Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Current Massachusetts RN license, BLS certification, minimum of 2 years working in a single location, and 2 years experience as a traveler RN
Preferred Qualifications: ACLS certification is preferred
Float: Float rotation may be required to applicable units when requested
Additional Information: Must be able to read telemetry strips, possess neuro assessment skills, and interpret telemetry data. Day and evening shifts have a patient-to-clinician ratio of 1:4, which may go up to 1:5 or 1:6 on night shift. The unit utilizes EPIC electronic medical records system.
