Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS Tele) unit located in a healthcare facility is seeking a qualified registered nurse. The role involves providing patient care on a Medical Surgical with Telemetry unit, with floating across units including Adult Tele, Neuro, and MedSurg. The position requires ability to manage cardiac drips and interpret EKGs, with a focus on safe and effective patient care during night shifts.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education, and Experience: Valid ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required; minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a related setting.
• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Responsibilities: Titration of cardiac drips, interpretation of EKGs, and providing bedside patient care. Floating to similar or lower acuity units, including Tele, Neuro, and MedSurg. Floor-specific orientation includes 2 days on the floor.
• Additional Details: Must be able to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to signing the contract. Floating between campuses is required, with notification given 1.5 hours prior to shift start; may involve float to different units or campuses within the region. The unit handles post-surgical, post-vascular, and general medical patients, including those requiring titration of medications such as Amio, Cardene, Nitro, Heparin, Dobutamine.
