Job Details
Position Description: The role involves providing care on a neurological and neurosurgical inpatient nursing unit specializing in stroke and neuro patient populations, including patients with intracranial hemorrhage, subarachnoid hemorrhage, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, and seizure disorders.
Certifications, Education, and Experience Requirements: RN license, BLS certification, 2 years of medical surgical or telemetry acute care experience, and experience with neurology patients.
Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Additional Information: Must have experience with neurology patients and be willing to work every other weekend and holidays as needed. EPIC orientation sessions are scheduled on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month. Previous employment with any Johns Hopkins system facility must be disclosed on the coversheet and in the work history. Candidates with prior Johns Hopkins employment must be away for at least one full year before applying as a traveler.
