Job Summary: Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical with Telemetry at a healthcare facility in Tucson, Arizona. The position involves providing patient care through the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Acts and hospital policies. The RN will demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership skills to ensure safe patient delivery, maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education.
Job Details:
Schedule: Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, working three 12-hour shifts.
Required Qualifications: Arizona nursing license, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, and ability to work a 13-week assignment starting approximately 08/31/2026.
Preferred Qualifications: Cerner Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience.
Float: Float rotation may be required between departments and the following facilities: Northwest Medical Center, Oro Valley Hospital, Northwest Houghton, and Northwest Sahuarita.
Additional Information: The position is in a float pool, requiring flexibility to rotate among multiple facilities. Scrub color is flexible, and the nurse will work with a patient ratio of 6:1.
