Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS Telemetry) registered nurse position available in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing patient care for adult and geriatric patients with diagnoses such as sepsis, UTI, AKI, pneumonia, cholecystitis, and CHF, on a rotating night shift schedule. The position requires a skilled nurse with experience in telemetry and the ability to work independently within a dynamic hospital environment.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights, 3x12s, 36 hours per week, starting 10/26/2026 and ending 03/01/2027
• Required Qualifications: RN licensure in MD or a Compact state, BLS, NIHSS certification, and at least 1 year of related experience or a minimum of 1 year general nursing experience
• Specialty: Medical Surgical (MS) with Telemetry (Tele)
• Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics with diagnoses including sepsis, UTI, AKI, pneumonia, cholecystitis, and CHF
• Additional Requirements: Experience with charting in Epic, ability to manage cardiac monitoring, and floating within scope to other units as needed. Certification in CPI (Calm Every Storm) required, with online certification preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous charge nurse experience, experience with community hospital settings, trauma experience, and familiarity with community health environments.
• Unit Details: Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, respiratory services, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams.
• Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive nursing care, monitor patient status, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and adhere to hospital policies regarding floating and unit-specific protocols.
• Onboarding & Compliance: Labs must be completed within 72 hours of signing, with all compliance documents submitted 5 days prior to start date. Modules are non-billable.
