Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN, Telemetry to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage the care of patients on a 20-bed medical surgical and telemetry unit, including ortho, cardiac, and psychiatric cases.
• Float to various units as required, adapting quickly to new environments and patient populations.
• Ensure safe and effective administration of drips and manage telemetry monitoring on the unit.
• Provide patient education and maintain accurate documentation using EPIC charting systems.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including care techs and LPNs, for comprehensive patient care.
• Participate actively in safety and de-escalation training sessions to effectively manage behavioral health conditions.

Qualifications

• Current RN license, pending Nebraska RN State License accepted.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a large, urban hospital setting required, preferably in a Level I Academic Medical Center.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; CPI preferred.
• Proficiency in EPIC charting system is essential.
• Experience in managing drips and telemetry in acute care settings.
• Comfortable with frequent floating and managing behavioral health patient populations.
