Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) RN position in Minnesota. This role involves providing holistic nursing care to adult and geriatric patients, focusing on assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. The RN will collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Job Details
- Position Description: The RN provides holistic, patient-centered care across the lifespan, including neonates, infants, children, young adults, adults, and older adults, within the scope of nursing standards and competencies specific to the assigned service area. Responsibilities include creating and revising care plans, coordinating multidisciplinary care, delegating tasks, and participating in shared decision-making to promote excellent customer care.
- Required Qualifications: Valid Minnesota nursing license (temporary accepted if a permanent license application is in progress), 2+ years of Med Surg/Telemetry experience, 1+ years of travel experience, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, documentation showing ability to insert IVs, experience with adult and geriatric patient populations, EPIC electronic medical record experience.
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior travel nursing experience, proficiency in nursing documentation, strong clinical assessment skills.
- Additional Information: A temporary Minnesota nursing license will be accepted, provided the applicant has applied for a permanent license and holds the temporary license at the time of submission. Candidates must have at least two years of experience in Med Surg/Telemetry, a minimum of one year of travel experience, and current certifications. RTO requests must be included at the time of submittal.
