Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) nurse position available on night shifts in an acute care setting. The role involves providing direct patient care for adult and geriatric populations, including assessment, care planning, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. The ideal candidate will have clinical experience in medical-surgical units with telemetry monitoring, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

• Shift Schedule: Nights, 12 hours shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS; valid California RN license; BSN degree; no minimum years of experience specified; location in California; valid Nursys verification uploaded within the last 2 weeks
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cardiac telemetry, managing IV drips, interpreting dysrhythmias, and using the Epic charting system is preferred
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: Provides patient care for adults and geriatrics in a medical-surgical unit with telemetry; facilitates safe and therapeutic environments; collaborates with healthcare team; performs assessments and documentation according to regulatory standards; participates in unit meetings and quality improvement activities; may float to related units as needed; evaluates patient progress and modifies care plans accordingly; ensures equipment safety and maintains infection control standards; demonstrates professional growth through ongoing education and peer training; maintains patient confidentiality and dignity; responds promptly to patient needs and inquiries; attends staff meetings and reviews minutes.
