Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical Telemetry to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to a mixture of medical, telemetry, and surgical patients, including orthopedics and urology.
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions, coordinating with the interdisciplinary team for a comprehensive care approach.
• Utilize EPIC for documentation and ensure accurate medication administration using PYXIS system.
• Respond to Code 99 and Rapid Response calls, assist with patient transfers for critical care as needed.
• Collaborate with hospitalists, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
• Ensure adherence to unit protocols and provide supportive care, fostering a culture of teamwork and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license with a minimum of 2 years Medical Surgical Telemetry experience required.
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required; progressive care experience preferred.
• Experience with EPIC documentation system within the past 2 years is mandatory.
• Prior travel nursing experience required with strong critical thinking and adaptation skills.
• Availability to work every other weekend and flexible scheduling for holiday coverage.
• Reliable transportation required due to limited public transportation access.
