Job Summary:
The healthcare provider is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with expertise in Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) for an assignment in a central pool. The position involves floating across various units within the facility, including Medical Surgical and Telemetry units, with flexibility required for scheduling and support areas such as hematology, oncology, orthopedics, med tele, general surgery, neurology, neurosurgery, ENT, and GYN. The assignment duration is approximately 16-26 weeks, starting on 10/19/2026.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), NIHSS certification required prior to start, at least 2 years of clinical experience, experience in a large trauma level 1 teaching facility, recent EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) system experience within the past 2 years, and valid licensure.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with float pools and supporting multiple specialty units.
• Float: Float rotation may be required, with candidates floating to support areas outside their original unit, including units of like skill and ability, ED Boarders, and surge areas.
• Additional Information: Willingness to work every other weekend and adapt schedule to meet unit and patient care needs. Must have reliable transportation as public transportation is not accessible in this area. No block schedules are permitted, with bi-weekly orientations on Mondays. All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained, and full work history details are required for submission.
