Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) nursing position located in the area. This role involves providing patient care on a 12-hour night shift, including weekends and holidays. The position requires floating to various medical surgical telemetry units as needed and performing specific testing during onboarding to ensure competency.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, weekends and holidays expected, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • At least 2 years of Medical Surgical Telemetry experience and able to pass Telemetry Competency Exam
  • Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • ACLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Documented professional developmental activities
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Charge Nurse experience
  • Knowledge of critical paths
• Additional Information:
  • Orientation occurs biweekly.
  • The organization will conduct pass/fail testing for electrocardiogram (ECG), telemetry, and medications during onboarding via Zoom.
  • Testing must be completed within 48 hours of offer; the passing score is 85%, with no options for remediation or re-sit.
  • All requests for time off (RTO) must be presented at the time of submission.
  • Candidates who have worked for the organization or its affiliates within the last six months will not be considered unless separated for at least six months.
  • This position is part of the float pool, with the expectation to float to similar units and overflow areas as needed.
