Job Summary:
The facility is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) for a night shift position. The role involves caring for predominantly geriatric patients with behavioral disturbances, medical issues, such as dementia, confusion, and impulsive elderly behavior. This assignment requires passing a clinical skills test and medication test during onboarding, with orientation occurring biweekly.

Job Details:

• Shift Time: Nights
• Schedule: 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, BSN or ADN degree, California or Nevada nursing license, 1 year of relevant experience, ability to pass clinical skills and medication tests within 48 hours of offer
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in geriatrics, behavioral health, or telemetry units
• Additional Information:
  • BILH coversheet required at time of submission
  • Test scores of 85% are required to pass the ECG/Telemetry and Medication assessments, with no opportunity for re-sit
  • Ratios are 4:1, with 1-2 CNAs on day shifts
  • Orientation is biweekly
  • NM to interview and make offer; please provide availability for interviews at the time of submission
  • All return-to-origin (RTO) requests must be presented at the time of submission
  • Travelers who have worked for the healthcare provider as travel, perm, or per diem within the last six months will not be accepted; applicants must be separated from the facility for six months before consideration
