Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry Registered Nurse position located in the area. This role involves providing care for a wide variety of surgical and medical patients on a 12-hour night shift. The RN must be experienced in telemetry and able to interpret cardiac strips independently. Candidates must have recent acute medical-surgical telemetry experience, hold current licensure in the state, and possess certifications in CPR and ACLS. The position requires passing ECG and TELEMETRY testing during onboarding, with an emphasis on preparation and skill demonstration.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour nights, weekend and holiday rotation, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Equivalent to graduation from an accredited nursing school, two or more years of recent acute medical-surgical telemetry experience, current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing, certifications in CPR and ACLS, and Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience. Must be separated from the organization for six or more months and in good standing.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with ECG interpretation and tele and medication testing during onboarding.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: An online ECG and TELEMETRY test must be completed within 48 hours of confirmation with an 85% passing score, no re-sits allowed. Testing is administered via Zoom prior to acceptance; candidates should leverage provided study materials for preparation. This unit does not have telemetry techs; all RNs are required to read and interpret their own strips during shifts. Flu vaccination is required unless medical exemptions apply. The facility cares for a diverse patient population, including surgical and overflow medical patients.
