Job Summary: A Medical Surgical Nurse specializing in Urology and Renal care is sought for a position in a healthcare facility located in New York. This role involves delivering high-quality patient care, assessing patient needs, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to develop and evaluate care plans. The position requires effective communication with patients and caregivers, prioritization of patient needs, and proactive safety management.
Job Details:
Schedule: Days shift, 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M., with a shift length of 7.5 hours and a minimum of 37.5 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: BSN, New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, two (2) years of Urology experience, and one (1) year of traveler experience.
Required Skills & Experience: Urology nursing expertise, experience in ambulatory and prostate procedures, and proficiency in documenting nursing practice and safety protocols.
Preferred Qualifications: Epic electronic health record experience.
Additional Information: The role involves patient education, communication, and escalation of safety concerns, with responsibilities emphasizing critical thinking and team collaboration.
