Job Details

• Position: Medical Surgical Urology/Renal Floor Nurse
• Location: The healthcare providers facility (no specific facility or organization name included)
• Shift: Rotating shifts, every other weekend and holiday, with 12-hour shift hours and a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Registered nurse licensed in South Dakota, minimum of 1 year experience working with surgical patients, BLS Certification
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with renal patients and critical care settings
• Additional Information:
  • The unit is a small 19-bed telemetry unit caring for complex patients with diagnoses such as acute and chronic renal failure, hypertension, diabetes, head and neck cancer, and more.
  • Responsibilities include patient care planning, assessment, education, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Staff work closely with intensivists and specialty teams providing goal-directed care.
  • Must badge in and out at the facility, wear navy blue scrubs, and utilize the electronic charting system, EPIC.
  • Prior experience working for Sanford Health with an end date at least 6 months prior to submission is required if applicable.
