Travel Medical Technologist - $1,393 to $1,593 per week in Fenton, MI

Jackson HealthPros is hiring a Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist (formerly Medical Technologist) to perform diagnostic testing on patient samples and analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits to aid physicians in the diagnosis or monitoring of various disease states.

Minimum Requirements: 

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field as required by individual clients.
• Valid ASCP certification required. (Client requires ASCP.)
• In licensure states, Laboratory Licensure in appropriate specialty for the department or location assignment as applicable to the state.
• 2+ years of MLS/MLS/Med Tech experience required. (Client-specific requirement: 2+ years MLS experience.)
• BLS certification.
• Experience performing chemistry, hematology, blood bank, and specimen processing on hospital laboratory analyzers and instruments preferred.
• Experience with operation, calibration, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of laboratory analyzers and spectrophotometers preferred.

Assignment Details

• Facility type: Hospital.
• Shift name: Nights.
• Shift details: 12-hour shifts from 6:00pm–6:30am.
• Schedule: 3x12 night shifts per week.
• Weekend requirement: Every third weekend or as needed to cover gaps.
• Duration: 13-week travel assignment.
• Floating: May be required to float to other facility locations as needed.
