Location: South Lake Tahoe, California – situated at nearly 6,200 feet above sea level in a beautiful mountain community
Schedule: 10-hour evening shifts, 40 guaranteed hours per week. Initial 89-day assignment with potential 9-month extension after successful completion of training. Flexibility for short-notice coverage for evening and night shifts required.

Requirements:- Current California Phlebotomy Certificate Type I or II
- Nevada Laboratory Assistant license or proof of application submitted prior to start date (must obtain within 6 months)
- Current BLS certification issued by American Heart Association (BLS for Healthcare Provider)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an acute care setting; rural health experience preferred
- Ishihara Test for Color Blindness
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Proficiency in phlebotomy, specimen collection and handling, customer service, and effective communication
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Successful completion of comprehensive background checks, drug screening (oral swab for THC metabolites on day one), and immunization requirements
