We are looking for someone with experience in hematology and using Sysmex and CellaVision systems. Ideally, the candidate should have worked in a large hospital laboratory (600+ beds), as our lab is very busy and we need someone who understands the workload and pace.
Our facility also includes large neonatal units, and performing differentials accurately is a critical part of our daily operations. Candidates who are not already competent in these areas would require extensive training, which could delay their readiness. Therefore, we prefer someone who has previously handled similar responsibilities and can transition quickly.
We also deal with a wide variety of complex samples on a daily basis including turbid specimens, platelet clumps, and abnormal cell findings so its important that the candidate is already familiar with managing these challenges
