This role is ideal for candidates with a strong background in Hematology and proficiency with Sysmex and CellaVision systems. The position involves working in a busy core lab environment, ensuring that critical operations run smoothly, especially in the large neonatal units.

Key Responsibilities of the Medical Technologist- Handle complex lab samples, including turbid specimens, platelet clumps, and abnormal cell findings
- Perform accurate differentials within a busy core lab and neonatal environment
- Utilize Sysmex and CellaVision systems efficiently
- Manage workload effectively in a 600+ bed hospital laboratory
Requirements of the Medical Technologist- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Hematology and busy core lab settings
- ASCP, AMT, AAB certification required
- Experience with Sysmex and CellaVision systems
- Proficiency in performing differentials in neonatal units
- Cerner experience preferred
