Travel Medical Technologist - $2,077 to $2,277 per week in King City, CA

Jackson HealthPros is hiring a Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist (formerly Medical Technologist) to perform diagnostic testing on patient samples and analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits to aid physicians in the diagnosis or monitoring of various disease states.

Minimum Requirements: 

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in related field as required by individual clients.
• Valid ASCP or AMT certification required.
• Laboratory licensure in California required. (State licensure must be active and in good standing.)
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist / Medical Laboratory Scientist / Medical Technologist. Experience performing clinical chemistry, hematology, blood banking, microbiology, and/or molecular testing preferred.
• Experience working 12-hour shifts and variable scheduling preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Ability to follow laboratory quality control procedures, maintain documentation, and work within CLIA-regulated environments.
• Preferred: Prior hospital laboratory experience in an acute care setting or with high-volume testing workflows.

• Shift Name: Flex Shifts.
• Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, variable scheduling; 36 hours per week as typical schedule.
• Floating: Candidate may be required to float to other facilities as needed.
• Licensure Requirement: Must possess an active California Clinical Laboratory Scientist license.
