Travel Medical Technologist - $2,112 per week in Anchorage, AK

Job Opportunity – Medical Lab Technician / Medical Lab Scientist – Anchorage, AK 99508

Start Date: September 8, 2026

Location: Anchorage, Alaska

Schedule: Night shift, 5x8-hour shifts (10:00 PM - 6:30 AM). Weekend coverage required at least every other weekend, with potential for additional weekend shifts as needed. Guaranteed 72 hours per two-week period.

Requirements:

• Valid Alaska state license or pending license (processing takes 10-12 weeks)
• ASCP, AMT, or AAB certification in either MLT (Medical Lab Technician) or MLS (Medical Lab Scientist)
• Minimum 1 year of acute care/inpatient laboratory experience required; first-time travelers must have at least 2 years of experience
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with Siemens Atellica preferred
• Hepatitis B vaccination required (titers or declination not accepted)
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Willingness to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate locations
