Job Opportunity – Clinical Lab Scientist (Blood Bank) – Orange, CA 92868Start Date: July 28, 2026
Location: Orange County, California
Schedule: Night shift, 4x10-hour shifts (9:30 PM - 7:30 AM, with potential flex to 8:00 PM start). Rotating weekends and holidays required. High-volume setting processing 30-50 samples per day with extensive type/screen and crossmatch workload. Clinician will work independently during night shifts.

Requirements:- Active California Clinical Laboratory Scientist license required prior to start
- ASCP-BB or ACP-BB certification required; Clinical Immunohematology Scientist certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years of recent blood bank experience required
- Seasoned travel experience specifically in blood bank settings required
- Recent or current blood bank experience within the past 2 years required
- Large hospital experience (300+ beds) required
- Level I Trauma center experience required; teaching hospital experience preferred
- Epic experience required
- Blood bank software experience required (Wellsky and Immucor instrumentation preferred)
- Must be comfortable working independently with high-volume workload
- LA fire card within 30 days required
- Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
