Job Opportunity – Histology Technologist – Santa Rosa, CA 95405

Start Date: December 14, 2026

Location: Santa Rosa, California

Schedule: Night shift, Sunday through Thursday, 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM (5x8-hour shifts). 40 hours of orientation provided. Limited time off available (maximum 7 days).

Requirements:

• ASCP-HT certification required
• Associate's Degree in Science required
• Minimum 2 years of histology experience required; 10+ years preferred for first-time travelers
• Grossing experience in a hospital setting is mandatory (hard stop requirement)
• Proficiency in embedding, microtomy, staining (including automated IHC and special stains), and manual special stains
• Cytology skills including thin prep, cell block, cytospin, and GYN specimens preparation
• California state license preferred; pending license accepted
• Two professional references covering one year of experience within the last three years
• Commitment to work 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
