Travel Medical Technologist - $2,333 to $2,533 per week in Redding, CA

Jackson HealthPros is hiring a Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist (Clinical Laboratory Scientist) to perform diagnostic testing on patient samples and analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits to aid physicians in the diagnosis or monitoring of various disease states.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field as required by individual clients.
• Valid ASCP or AMT certification required.
• In licensure states, Laboratory Licensure in the appropriate specialty for the department or location assignment as applicable to the state.
• 1 year of experience as a CLS / MLS / Medical Technologist.
• BLS certification.
• Must meet California regulatory requirements to work in the clinical laboratory (California Business and Professions Code and California Code of Regulations) when applicable.
• Experience with phlebotomy, including skin puncture and venipuncture across age ranges, preferred.
• Experience processing microbiology, immunology, hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, chemistry, and blood bank specimens preferred.
• Experience operating and loading automated laboratory instrumentation and performing specimen processing and referral specimen preparation preferred.
• Experience with clerical duties such as computer data entry, filing, telephone communication, supply inventory and stocking preferred.
