Travel Medical Technologist (Generalist)-| East Norriton, PA

Location: 559 W Germantown Pike, Norristown, PA 19403
Position: Travel Medical Technologist (Generalist)
Start Date: September 9, 2026
Contract Length: 26 Weeks with possible extension
Shift: Mid Shift – 5x8s (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM)

Responsibilities

• Perform testing in Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank, Microbiology, Immunology, and Urinalysis.
• Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation.
• Review and interpret quality control results.
• Perform specimen processing and analysis following laboratory standards.
• Ensure accurate documentation and timely reporting of patient results.
• Maintain compliance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.

Required Laboratory Skills

Experience in most of the following areas is preferred:

• Blood Bank (ABO/Rh, Antibody Screen, Crossmatch)
• Chemistry
• Hematology & Coagulation
• Microbiology
• Immunology/Serology
• Urinalysis
• Manual Differentials
• Quality Control Review
• Instrumentation including Beckman, ACL TOP, and CellaVision

Schedule

• Mid Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• 5x8-hour shifts
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage required, including Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's as needed
• Rare on-call requirement
