Travel Medical Technologist - $2,601 to $2,801 per week in Boston, MA

Jackson HealthPros is hiring a Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist (formerly Medical Technologist) to perform diagnostic testing on patient samples and analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits to aid physicians in the diagnosis or monitoring of various disease states.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in related field as required by individual clients
• Valid ASCP or AMT certification required
• In licensure states, Laboratory Licensure in appropriate specialty for the department or location assignment as applicable to the state
• 1 year of experience as a CLS / MLS / Med Tech
• BLS certification
• 3 years Vascular ultrasound experience required
• CCI RCS or ARDMS RVT required
• Must be able to work independently and converse with MDs

Assignment Details

• 40 hours per week, 4x10 schedule
• Saturday and Sunday coverage for Transcranial Doppler
• On-call weekend and holiday coverage from 8a-12
• Rotating between inpatient, outpatient, and OR settings
• Average patient volume: 7-10 patients
• Experience with Apollo reporting system required
