Concentric Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN MICU - Medical Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Job Title

Registered Nurse – ICU

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-acuity ICU nursing care including management of critically ill patients
  • Perform and assist with pronation therapy for applicable patient populations
  • Titrate vasopressors and manage hemodynamically unstable patients
  • Operate and monitor Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) dialysis equipment
  • Deliver care to patients requiring COVID-related interventions and isolation protocols
  • Float to other units as required based on facility need

Required Qualifications

  • Active RN license – Compact or Louisiana license required and must be in hand at time of submittal
  • Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
  • Current ACLS and BLS (BCLS) certifications – AHA required
  • CRRT experience required
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Must reside more than 65 miles from the facility (address on driver's license to site address)

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • CPI certification preferred
  • NIHSS certification preferred
  • Experience with COVID care and pronation therapy protocols
