• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 10/05/2026
• Shift: Nights, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours per shift (7:00 p.m. - 7:30 a.m.)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Orientation: 72 hours
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,940 - $2,040
• Charting System: Epic required
• Patient Ratios: 2:1 on days, nights, and weekends

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience in the MICU or a closely related critical care setting
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Experience with Epic charting required
• Strong skills in ventilator management, IV starts, arterial line care, central line care, and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Comfortable caring for adult and geriatric patients with complex medical and oncologic conditions
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to changing patient needs in a high-acuity ICU environment

Responsibilities

• Provide expert bedside nursing care for critically ill adult and geriatric patients in the Medical Intensive Care Unit
• Monitor and manage patients receiving ventilatory support, CRRT, vasoactive drips, and complex medication regimens
• Perform and support advanced ICU interventions, including arterial line monitoring, central line care, and chest tube management
• Assess patients with conditions such as sepsis, ARDS, COPD, pneumonia, gastrointestinal bleeding, and oncologic emergencies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver safe, timely, and effective patient-centered care
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient changes in Epic
• Maintain a calm, professional approach while prioritizing patient safety in a fast-paced critical care setting
