Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Seattle, Washington

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12 or 4x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30), traveler's choice of 13 or 26-week assignment. Six weekend days per contract required. Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays.

• High-volume postpartum unit with diverse patient population and high-risk obstetric care
• Standard assignment of 4 couplets with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Large facility with 57 beds and daily census of approximately 45 patients
• Flexible assignment length and schedule options to accommodate your preferences
• First-time travelers accepted with appropriate experience and high-acuity postpartum skills
• Floating required to nearby campuses for postpartum and labor and delivery second-hour recovery

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license (Compact license accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of postpartum nursing experience with high-acuity patient care
• Epic charting system experience required (non-negotiable)
• Current BLS and NRP certifications
• Demonstrated experience with high-risk obstetric care, magnesium sulfate therapy, Pitocin administration, postpartum hemorrhage management, and substance withdrawal patients
• Ability to manage census surges and handle up to 4 couplets
• Experience with cesarean section care, episiotomy/incision care, fundus/lochia/perineum assessment, and Foley catheter management
• JADA experience preferred
• Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
