Job Requirements

• Active Maryland RN license or compact RN license in hand at the time of submission
• Minimum 2-3 years of Registered Nurse experience, with acute care experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Current BLS certification
• Current NRP certification
• Current E-CFM certification required at time of submission
• Experience with postpartum, antepartum, newborn assessment, and couplet care preferred
• Strong charting system experience and excellent teamwork skills
• Ability to work two of the three winter holidays

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality maternal-child care for postpartum, newborn, and antepartum patients
• Support couplet care and newborn assessment services in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Assist with breastfeeding support, discharge teaching, and newborn education for families
• Cross-train and contribute to antepartum and postpartum patient care as needed
• Float to Labor & Delivery to support LDRP needs, excluding triage and circulating responsibilities
• Monitor maternal and newborn status, including fundus, lochia, thermoregulation, and infant identification
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to promote safe, compassionate, family-centered care
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow all facility policies and attendance expectations
