Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Active RN license in hand at time of submission
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
• AWHONN Advanced certification required, or NCC C-EFM accepted in lieu of AWHONN Advanced
• Epic charting experience required
• Strong IV start skills and hands-on Labor & Delivery clinical experience
• Comfort working in a high-volume, fast-paced acute care environment
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Education from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing program preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, high-quality care to laboring and postpartum patients
• Monitor fetal and maternal status using EFM and related obstetric assessment tools
• Assist with vaginal deliveries, C-sections, triage, and recovery care
• Start and maintain IVs, administer medications and drips, and support fluid management
• Perform assessments including fundus, lochia, perineum, pain, edema, and reflex checks
• Support high-risk antepartum patients and respond to changes in fetal heart rate patterns
• Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia, respiratory services, IV teams, and other interdisciplinary partners
• Maintain accurate charting in Epic and communicate effectively with the care team
• Provide patient education and reassurance throughout labor, delivery, and recovery
