Jackson HealthPros is thrilled to welcome an experienced MRI Tech to our team to accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions, prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, and expertly operate MRI scanners to create diagnostic images.
Minimum Requirements:
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification or ARMRIT certification (ARRT-MR or ARMRIT required upon hire).
- MRI advanced level certification and state licensure as required by Georgia.
- Successful completion of an accredited MRI program or ARRT-R required.
- Minimum 1 year of MRI experience; experience performing a full range of MRI exams and independent operation of MRI equipment required.
- BLS certification (Basic Life Support) required prior to start.
- Competence with MRI safety, anatomy, pulse sequence parameters, patient positioning, and contrast administration, including GFR checks and weight-based dosing.
- Experience using PACS/RIS systems and pushing/retrieving studies to PACS.
- Ability to operate patient monitoring systems and demonstrate infection control and equipment maintenance procedures.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for interaction with physicians, patients, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Preferred: Experience in a hospital setting and familiarity with Dynacad or similar workflow systems.
