Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with a minimum of 1 year of experience for an evening shift position requiring ARMRIT and ARRT MR certification.

Details

• Work in the MRI department performing a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures
• Patient population includes adult acute care, adult ICU, adult outpatient, ER/trauma, and preferred pediatric acute care and outpatient
• Perform imaging studies including abdomen and pelvis, head and neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, and cardiovascular MR studies
• Procedures include MRA, MRV, MRCP, MR Angio with runoff, MR Aortogram, and MR Cardiac studies
• Uses Siemens MRI equipment
• Epic charting system experience required
• Monday-Friday evening shift, 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM
• On-call requirement of 8 hours per pay period, every other Sunday

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of MRI Technologist experience required
• ARMRIT, ARRT MR, and BLS certifications required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Experience with peripheral IV starts and isolation precautions/PPE
• Proficiency in a broad range of MRI procedures across abdominal, neurological, cardiovascular, musculoskeletal, and spinal imaging
• State or compact license required if applicable

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be accepted
• Former staff members must wait at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• All requested RTO must be submitted at time of consideration
