Job Title: MRI Tech Profession: Radiology/Cardiology Specialty: MRI Tech Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum 1 Year License: Pending License not accepted Certifications: ARRT MR, ARRT R, BLS Must-Have: - Adult Acute Care experience - Adult ICU experience - Adult Outpatient experience - Knowledge of MRI protocols for various body parts - Experience with GE and Philips MRI systems Description: The MRI Tech will be responsible for conducting magnetic resonance imaging on patients. The role requires proficiency in a variety of MRI procedures including abdominal, pelvic, and neurological scans. Skills in preparing and administering contrast media safely are essential. Clienttion safety practices must be observed consistently. CINE and diffusion MRI techniques are also part of the expected skill set. Regular floating between departments may be required to meet facility needs. The MRI Tech will work with adult and geriatric patient populations. Collaboration with an interdisciplinary team is expected. There is no weekend requirement for this position. No on-call duties are required.
