Travel MRI Tech - $1,604 per week in Montclair, NJ

Job Title: MRI Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: MRI Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Mid 5x5-Hour Hours per Shift: 15:00 - 20:00 Experience: Minimum 1 year experience, preferred community hospital experience License: State or Compact license required Certifications: ARMRIT, ARRT MR, BLS Must-Have: - Experience with abdominal, brain, and cardiac MRI procedures - Ability to perform various MRI techniques including MRA and MRV - Knowledge of Epic charting system Description: The MRI Tech will work Monday through Friday from 3 PM to 8 PM. On-call is required for 8 hours per pay period, every other Sunday. The unit accepts first-time travelers. Responsibilities include performing MRI scans and ensuring patient safety during procedures. Candidates must be experienced in magnetic resonance angiography and venography. A proactive approach to patient care, attention to detail, and effective communication skills are essential. The position requires the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. All necessary safety precautions and protocols must be followed. The preferred candidate will have experience with adult acute care and pediatric outpatient procedures. Flexibility in scheduling is expected to accommodate weekend shifts as needed.
