Pros is thrilled to welcome an experienced MRI Technologist to our team to accurately interpret physician scanning instructions, prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, and expertly operate MRI scanners to create diagnostic images.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Magnetic Resonance (MR) or ARMRIT required. Candidate must have active certification at time of submission.
  • New Mexico state licensure required for work in New Mexico.
  • MRT credential by MIRTP and NMED registration as required by state policy.
  • BLS certification required via AHA.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
  • Basic computer experience required. Experience with PACS, image archiving workflows, and PACS downtime procedures preferred.
  • Ability to troubleshoot basic MRI equipment issues, participate in QA processes, and follow MRI safety and screening protocols.
  • Ability and willingness to work other shifts and float to other hospital campuses as needed.

  • Facility type: Hospital.
  • Shift name: Mid Shift.
  • Shift hours: 1130–2330.
  • Work schedule: 3 days per week, 12-hour shifts.
  • Shift rotation may include coverage across weekday and weekend mid/day shifts as operationally required.

Standard Job Description

Pros is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform a wide variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures, support other technologists as needed, and facilitate efficient patient flow. The technologist will participate in ongoing education, safety, and technical updates within their scope of licensure. Responsibilities include MRI patient screening, operation of MRI equipment, ensuring exams are archived correctly in PACS, following downtime procedures as a PACS superuser when required, troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and escalating to biomedical personnel, and participating in QA activities. The technologist will maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and alignment with departmental policies and core values.
