MRI Tech 3x12 Days 0630-1900 Thurs-Sat Assignment Length: 13 Weeks Weekend REQ: Every Sat Call Required: Agency tech can take call, if they want to, but not required. Will this traveler need to float between like units? Day shift is exposed to a few more specialized studies, like Cardiac MRI and Breast MRI. Night shift does more bread and butter scans, brains, spines, abdomens, extremities. The accuity of patient varies from ambulatory to total assist by RNs or other staff. More ambulatory patients during the day shift and more partial to total assist for inpatients during the night shift.
