Job Title: MRI Tech Profession: Radiology/Cardiology Specialty: MRI Tech Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: 1 Year Required License: WA License Required Certifications: BLS, ARRT-MR or ARRT-IT Required Must-Have: - Preferred experience with neonates, infants, pediatrics, and adolescents. - Experience with EPIC charting system. - Ability to float between units. Description: The MRI Tech will work day shifts from 06:30 to 19:00, specifically Wednesday through Friday. This assignment lasts for 13 weeks. The traveler will not be required to take call but may do so if desired. The MRI department performs a variety of examinations, including specialized studies such as Cardiac MRI and Breast MRI during the day shift. Typical cases include both ambulatory and total assist patients with varying acuity levels. More ambulatory patients are encountered during the day, while night shifts handle more complex cases requiring partial to total assistance from staff. Patients include adults and geriatrics, with a daily caseload of approximately 30-40. The facility is a Level II trauma center with diverse patient needs, covering outpatient, inpatient, and emergency department requirements. Scrub color is any, except for reddish-orange. Travelers regularly float between various units within their skill set.
