Job Title: MRI Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: MRI Tech Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours (06:30 - 19:00) Experience: 1 year required License: WA license required Certifications: BLS, ARRT-CT, ARRT-R Must-Have: Experience with GE MRI within 1 year and stroke protocol efficiency Description: The MRI Tech will work full-time on day shifts. Shifts will consist of three 12-hour workdays from Thursday to Saturday. Travelers will be required to float between like units. Call will be required during the assignment. The position requires experience in performing MRI scans efficiently. The MRI department handles various exam types including specialized studies. The dayshift is focused on more specialized studies such as cardiac MRI and breast MRI. Patients may vary from those needing minimal assistance to those requiring full support. Applicants must have experience with specific imaging protocols. All staff must have the ability to administer contrast media. The role may involve additional tasks such as starting peripheral IVs. The successful candidate will be expected to show proficiency in using the designated charting system. Travelers may be called off for one shift per two-week period. The facility has a daily caseload of approximately 30-40 scans. A robust support system exists for interdisciplinary collaboration. Applicants must provide two professional references. Travelers should be prepared for flexible scheduling and additional responsibilities as needed.
