Job Title: MRI Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: MRI Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (07:00 - 15:00) Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: Valid state license required Certifications: ARRT MR Must-Have: - Epic experience is mandatory - Siemens experience required Description: This position requires travel experience. The role does not float between units. On-call is required for one night a week from 9 PM to 6 AM. Weekends are not required. Block schedules are not required. The expected patient ratio is 1:1. Day shift is Monday through Friday. Candidates must have experience with Siemens Magnetom Vida 3T and GE SIGNA HDE 1.5T. This facility is a short-term acute care and Level II trauma center with a total of 209 staff beds. Scrub color is flexible for all staff, and scrubs are provided in sterile units. Charting is done using Epic software. Study various patient ages including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Daily census averages 160 patients. Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, and social services. Patient diagnoses and special procedures will be applicable as required by this role. This position may entail communication device provision by the client, if needed for duties assigned. Candidates must commit to working three of the five specified holidays. References covering the required time frame will be needed. Travelers might be expected to float between nearby facilities. Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment. All requests for specific scheduling must be made at the time of application. Inflexibility regarding schedule may lead to termination of contract.
