Job Title: MRI Technologist Profession: Radiology Specialty: CT with X-ray Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days: Thursday, Friday, and Saturday Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Graduate of an accredited Radiology Program License: ARRT/NYSDOH License required Certifications: BLS required, Certified to perform contrast injections Must-Have: Specialized training in MRI Technology and cross-sectional anatomy Description: Demonstrate proficiency in performing MRI imaging exams for all ages. Adhere to safety procedures. Operate MRI equipment and prepare patients for procedures. Ensure sufficient information is obtained for diagnostic purposes. Assist in the management of patients and present images to physicians for diagnosis. Perform intravenous therapy, including contrast selection and injection. Prepare and enter written documentation as required by the department, such as informed consent.
