Job Title: MRI Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: MRI Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 18 months experience required, 2 years preferred License: Valid and unrestricted radiologic technologist license required Certifications: EKG and Pharmacy test required during orientation Must-Have: - Previous charge experience is preferred - Experience with patient ratio management - Familiarity with charting systems Description: The MRI Technologist will be responsible for conducting MRI scans in accordance with established protocols. They will ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures are essential for this role. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is expected. There will be a focus on providing high-quality patient care. Candidates must demonstrate competency in the use of MRI equipment. Experience in a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures is beneficial. Must be able to work weekends and evenings as required. Candidates should exhibit a commitment to maintaining a smoke-free environment. Compliance with COVID-19 and flu vaccination requirements is mandatory.
