About this Position Position/Specialty: MRI Tech The Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (MRI) reports to the site supervisor and manager of radiology. Under general supervision, the MRI Technologist performs high-quality MRI examinations in accordance with established protocols on patient populations for physician interpretation. Other duties as deemed necessary. Shift: M-F 5x8's (1230p - 9p), will consider 4x10's (1030a - 9p) and / or 3x12's (830a - 9p) Weekend Requirement: Saturdays 8a-4p Holiday Requirement: n/a Call Requirement (Y/N)?: N Float Requirement: Potentially between Clements Ferry and East Cooper Required/Preferred Years of experience REQ: 2+ years of MRI experience First-timers accepted: Yes Cert/License REQ: BLS, ARRT (MR) Certification/Licenses accepted: ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT state license is NOT required Radiation Badge REQ: Yes. Radiation badge MUST be provided by agency; MUSC does NOT provide radiation badges to travelers Skills Required: General MRI exams, implants, elastography, defecography, breast, and cardiac. Miscellaneous Radius rule? Yes, 60 miles. Are locals accepted? Yes, on a case-by-case basis at 10% less than the posted bill rate RTO Restrictions: All RTO must be included at time of submission.
