Job Title: MRI Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: MRI Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 18 months permanent experience in the specialty applying for prior to travel. License: Must have a permanent Ohio license in hand at time of submission. Compact licenses are accepted. Certifications: Required certifications must be active with nothing pending. Must-Have: - One reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required to qualify for submission. - Negative 10 Panel + Nicotine (Cotinine) Drug screen required within 12 months of start. Must be updated annually. Description: The technologist will be expected to work Mondays from 10:30 AM to 11:00 PM. Weekends will include shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM on Saturday and Sunday. Weekends will primarily involve outpatient scans. Mondays will consist of a mix of inpatient and outpatient scans. The equipment used will mostly be a GE 3T Discovery 750W. The technologist may also be asked to scan on a Siemens Sola 1.5T. All required modules must be completed prior to the start date. Candidates must complete onsite fingerprints before the start date. Travelers will receive two attempts maximum to pass the ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate during orientation. Candidates with an open background issue will not be accepted. The facility has a strict do not call policy. All travelers must be nicotine-free, with exemptions granted temporarily for certain healthcare workers. Extensions for candidates may be granted on a case-by-case basis. Modules are completed pre-start and annually, and they vary by specialty.
