Job Title: MRI Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: MRI Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours (07:00 - 19:30) Experience: 1 year License: Active SCQRSA license / ARRT MR / BLS Certifications: ARRT(R)(CT), BLS Must-Have: 1 year of Epic experience required Description: Position available for an MRI Technologist. Proficient in adult acute care and outpatient settings, with competency across all age groups. Imaging expertise required in chest, abdomen, pelvis, head, musculoskeletal trauma, and spine. Experience in contrast media preparation and administration is essential. Must be able to start peripheral IVs and follow isolation precautions. Familiarity with equipment such as GE, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba is required. Charting experience with Epic is mandatory. Floating to other units may be required based on census. All requests for time off must be included with the submission. Facility reserves the right to call off one shift every two weeks. Team members must float to units they are qualified for and trained in, per floating policy. Responsibilities include imaging procedures and providing quality patient care. Must demonstrate competency in performing required imaging tasks and documenting patient information accurately. The facility is a Level I Adult and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center and offers advanced specialty care programs. Hospital highlights include a substantial number of licensed beds and community teaching programs.
