Job Title: MRI Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: MRI Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour; Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: Day (10:30 - 18:30); Night (23:00 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: NC or Compact license pending okay for submittal Certifications: BLS, ARRT MR, ARRT R Must-Have: The unit will not accept first-time travelers. Candidates must be open to floating within or near the facility as per job description. Must work 2 of 3 major holidays. All requests for time off must be pre-approved. Description: RTO after booking is not allowed. Call-offs or additional requests for time off on unit may result in a cancellation. Travelers may start on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday of the first week. Travelers must be fully available with no other commitments to accommodate schedule changes. Missing any portion of orientation may lead to a delayed or canceled start. Confirmation of the final start date will be provided before the start week. Candidate must have experience with abdomen, pelvis, head and neck, spine, musculoskeletal imaging. Skills required include diffusion (non-brain), gradient echo imaging, MIP, MRP, peripheral magnetic resonance, spin echo images, surface coils, T1 and T2 imaging, and CINE. Preferred skills include experience with chest imaging and image post-processing. Familiarity with patient diagnoses including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics is required. Experience with neonates, infants, and pediatrics is preferred. Candidates will be required to report to work during catastrophic events or disasters. The daily census and number of visits per day will vary. Candidates must complete testing within 48 hours after signing. All modules must be completed pre-start and annually, and conducted online using Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge. The orientation will be 24 hours, non-billable.
